27. Judy Garland as Irene Hoffman. (Judgement At Nuremberg, 1961)
I feel the picture is terribly important. I think it’s important that my children see the clarification that Judgement At Nuremberg brings about. It’s a “clearing” of certain issues. I also think it’s one of the most adult pictures ever made; the issues have been presented correctly, so I say it’s important from that viewpoint—from the viewpoint of young people learning from our errors.
